Information generated when you use the site
MoveDigest and its hosting, security and analytics providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, requested URL and timestamps. This information may be used to operate, secure, measure and improve the site.
Information used for quote and referral services
If MoveDigest activates a vehicle-shipping quote or referral service, the form or link may request information such as pickup and delivery locations, vehicle year, make and model, vehicle condition, desired transport timing and method, name, email address, phone number and related request metadata. The information requested and the provider receiving it should be identified beside the active form or commercial link before submission.
Depending on the approved integration, information may be submitted directly to an external provider through a provider-hosted or embedded form, or received by MoveDigest and forwarded to the identified provider for the requested quote or referral. MoveDigest does not use quote-request information to represent itself as the carrier or broker.
Prospective quote, referral and tracking providers
Providers MoveDigest is evaluating for possible future activation include TAQ's Quotify, JTH Shipping & Logistics LLC and uShip. A uShip referral or another approved affiliate relationship may use impact.com for attribution, reporting and commission administration. Naming a provider here does not mean that a partnership or integration is currently active. A provider that has not been activated does not receive visitor information from MoveDigest.
When a provider is activated, MoveDigest will identify the provider at the relevant form or link and update this policy if the integration materially changes how information is collected, shared or retained.
Cookies and similar technologies
MoveDigest may use cookies or similar storage for essential site functions, preferences, measurement and, when advertising or affiliate tracking is enabled, advertising and attribution purposes. An approved partner or attribution platform such as impact.com may use cookies or comparable identifiers to associate a visit or referral with a qualifying action, subject to applicable consent choices.
Advertising
If MoveDigest displays advertising through Google or another advertising provider, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to MoveDigest and/or other sites on the Internet.
Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Additional industry opt-out choices may be available through AboutAds.
Consent for advertising and tracking
Where required, advertising, affiliate tracking and related storage should not be activated until the applicable consent choice has been collected. If Google advertising is served to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, MoveDigest intends to use a Google-certified consent management platform that supports the applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework requirements.
Affiliate and referral links
Some outbound links may be affiliate or referral links. MoveDigest may record a click identifier, the page where the link appeared, the selected partner or offer, and basic request metadata so referrals can be measured and commissions can be reconciled. MoveDigest does not receive a visitor's payment credentials from the external provider through a normal affiliate click.
Data retention and security
MoveDigest aims to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, recordkeeping and applicable legal obligations. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Third-party websites and services
External providers have their own privacy practices. Once you submit information to or leave MoveDigest for an external provider, that provider's privacy policy and terms govern its handling of your information and services.
Privacy questions and requests
For privacy questions or requests, email info@movedigest.com. Please identify the relevant page or interaction and do not send passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when MoveDigest adds or removes material site features, analytics, advertising, quote, referral or tracking providers. The current version published on this page applies to the site as then configured.
