Prices come from observations
Published price ranges are intended to come from eligible quote observations or other clearly identified pricing evidence that retains source, observation time and route context. A page should not present a generated or unsupported figure as a measured market price.
Recent observations matter
Pricing can change with fuel, seasonality, route balance, capacity and service type. Calculations may therefore use a defined freshness window and minimum sample requirement before a route range is shown.
Ranges are preferred to false precision
Where enough observations exist, MoveDigest can use percentile-based bounds rather than a single average so one unusually low or high quote has less influence. Published ranges should identify the observation period or other material basis when that context is available.
Transit estimates are separate from driving time
Road-routing time is not the same thing as carrier transit time. A transit estimate should come from relevant transportation evidence and should account for pickup windows, stops and operating conditions rather than simply converting map-driving hours into delivery days.
Distance and route evidence
Route distance is treated as source-backed data with freshness and attribution requirements. Provider terms determine how a particular routing source can be stored, refreshed and displayed.
Why a live quote can differ
Vehicle size and condition, open or enclosed transport, exact pickup and delivery locations, flexibility, seasonal demand and market capacity can all change a live offer. MoveDigest price ranges are informational estimates unless a specific external provider clearly labels its own live quote.
