Electric Car Shipping Guide: What EV Owners Should Know
Shipping an EV is similar to shipping a gasoline car, but battery charge, vehicle weight, ground clearance, and loading modes require extra planning. Use this guide to prepare your vehicle, evaluate providers, and choose the right transport method.
How shipping an EV differs from shipping a gasoline car
Most electric vehicles travel on the same open or enclosed auto carriers used for gasoline cars.
